Director Spike Jonze is known for his movies and music videos. He’s not normally involved in TV commercials, but it looks like there’s always an exception to every rule.
Apparently he’s done Being John Malkovich, Where The Wild Things Are, videos with Daft Punk, Kanye West, and the TV series Jacka$$ for MTV. He’s trading it all in for perfume!?!?!?!?
The company is called Kenzo and enlisted Jonze to direct their longform TV ad, which features a woman dancing and or fighting through several empty spaces.
For whatever reason, this thing has gone viral with over 800,000 views! Honestly though, after watching to video…you won’t have a clue what product is being sold.
